Since 2021, we have been among the limited number of Portuguese SMEs achieving an “Excellent” rating in Scoring’s Financial Performance and Soundness Index (iDS).

The 2025 edition of the TOP 5% Best SMEs in Portugal once again includes JM Ribeiro da Cunha & Associados among the companies distinguished by Scoring. The recognition is awarded to the firm for the fifth consecutive year and, according to the certifying body, is attainable by only 5% of the companies.

The distinction is based on a financial analysis carried out using the ScorePME model, which assesses companies with annual revenues between €100,000 and €50 million and up to 250 employees, drawing on the Simplified Corporate Information (IES) submitted to the Portuguese Tax Authority. The methodology applied is certified under the ISO 9001:2015 standard, audited by SGS, and is also subject to independent verification by Bureau Veritas, as well as to scientific review by PhD holders in Management.

The consecutive renewal of this recognition confirms the consistency of JM Ribeiro da Cunha & Associados’ track record, underpinned by careful management and demanding financial performance standards.
