Vasco Oliveira accepted as statutory auditor by OROC
Auditor with extensive experience, and partner at JM Ribeiro da Cunha & Associados, Vasco Oliveira is, since December 27, 2001, the fifth active Statutory Auditor of the company.
JM Ribeiro da Cunha & Associados welcomes the decision by OROC (the mandatory professional accountancy organization for statutory auditors and statutory audit firms) to grant the registration of our colleague Vasco Oliveira.
As a good example of the company’s work culture, and with his permission, we publish below an excerpt of the text the new ROC no. 2032 has shared with all its colleagues after becoming aware of ORCOC’s registration commission decision.

A professional career is not just about numbers or positions; It is also about dreams and expectations and, from the moment I entered the auditing career, I told myself that one day I would be a ROC. I didn’t make it an obsession. It could have been ROC earlier, it’s true, but life evolved in a way that made it possible only now. (…) This is the message I would like to leave to those who have dreams in this profession or other personal or professional goals: never give up and always follow a path with well-defined guidelines. Sooner or later, you will find your place.
